TekTariq Tech Academy

Tech Training in Nigeria: Built for Real-World Application

The TekTariq Tech Academy is one of the most structured, rigorous tech training programmes in Lagos and Nigeria. It is not a workshop, a seminar, or a self-paced video library.

It is a 12-week, cohort-based programme that takes students from zero to genuine, portfolio-backed job-readiness across five of the highest-demand tech careers in Nigeria.

Every student who completes the Academy has done real work, and can prove it with a professional portfolio, live projects, and demonstrated competency assessed at four stages.

The 4-Level Competence Progression Model

Every track in the TekTariq Tech Academy follows the same four-level Competence Progression Model. The tools and content differ per track. The structure, rigour, and gate assessment logic are identical across all five. A curriculum is not a list of topics, it is a designed progression from zero to job-readiness, and that is exactly what this programme delivers.

Level 1Weeks 1–2

Foundation

Core concepts, critical thinking, and problem framing specific to your track.

Concepts mastery, ability to articulate reasoning, frame problems, and justify decisions under questioning.
Level 2Weeks 3–6

Core Skills

Practical tool mastery built through real micro-projects, not isolated exercises.

Tools mastery with a set of completed deliverables proving real-world application.
Level 3Weeks 7–9

Real Work

Collaborative team projects using professional workflows (Git, sprints, standups, code reviews).

Tools application, evidence of teamwork - contribution logs, reviewed PRs, and collaborative execution.
Level 4Weeks 10–12

Industry Simulation

Full product built under simulated employment conditions with a PM and a stakeholder panel.

A portfolio-ready capstone, a stakeholder defended presentation, and employer-ready case study review.

Gate Assessment Principle

Every level ends with a gate assessment - a live demonstration of competency through real work, not written tests.

Students who do not pass receive targeted support and one additional attempt. No student advances without demonstrated competence.
